Pittsburgh’s Port Authority converted their fleet of light rail head lights to LED. These upgraded LED Headlights are brighter and offer a more consistent beam pattern to reduce the glare for the driver.

These upgraded lights have a long service life. Also, they include the high and low intensity to prevent over light glare during night operations.

The upgrade to convert to LED also benefits from longer life between maintenance and lower energy costs compared to the traditional halogen.

Pittsburgh’s riders will benefit from this conversion for years to come.
